Currently he is teaching at the Film and Broadcasting Section, School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He teaches courses in film and cultural studies at both undergraduate and post graduate levels. In his spare time he likes listening to music, ranging from asli music up to some extreme hardcore heavy metal. He used to play rugby but now only watches the game on television.
