School of Communication

Persatuan Komunikasi, widely recognized as PERKOM, serves as the cornerstone for student life at the School of Communication. Dedicated to enhancing the educational experience and safeguarding the welfare of undergraduates, PERKOM provides a dynamic platform for students to engage in diverse initiatives—ranging from high-impact community service to prestigious annual school events. Beyond its role as a student representative body, PERKOM acts as a strategic partner to the School of Communication, facilitating official programs and bridging the gap between the school and the student community.

The Postgraduate Association of Communication Students (PACOMS) is a student-led association that is dedicated to strengthen network and unity among the postgraduate students of the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia.

PACOMS aims to create and foster a sense of identity and community for all postgraduate students. In addition, the organisation is also to provide an effective voice to promote the distinct academic, professional and social interests of postgraduate students.

Last but not least, the focus of PACOMS is to represent postgraduate student interests to the University, student organisations, and other groups beyond the greater University community. Potential activities for the postgraduate student’s benefits are being conducted from time to time.
