RCSC

Regional Communication Student Colloquium (RCSC) is organized yearly by the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia and aims to provide a platform for students to exchange their knowledge and perspectives through colloquium. To date, the colloquium was held in the years 2021 and 2022 online. The specific objectives of RCSC are;

• To foster research culture among students, both undergraduates and postgraduates in preparing them to become competent and established scholars in the field of communication.
• To give exposure to students on the research practices among scholars.
• To enhance students’ interpersonal competence through presentations.

The colloquium is about “Celebrating Novice Researchers” in fostering students to share their novel ideas and offer opportunities for students to present their research to the communication society, from Malaysia to Southeast Asia regional countries such as Brunei, Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
