COMM@Love in Transit 2026 Receives Prestigious Recognition at the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards 2026

18 September 2026, COMM@LiT 2026, a community engagement initiative by the School of Communication, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), has earned international recognition, receiving the Bronze Award in the Sustainability Project Management category at the IPMA Global Project Excellence Awards 2026 in Hiroshima, Japan.

Implemented through the YBP230 Corporate Social Responsibility course, COMM@LiT 2026 was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr Jamilah Hj. Ahmad and Dr Suriati Saad. The initiative provides students with opportunities to take their learning beyond the classroom, engaging directly with the community while contributing to meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

Presented during the 35th IPMA World Congress, the award places COMM@LiT 2026 alongside recognised projects from Croatia and the United Arab Emirates. This recognition marks a pivotal achievement for the initiative, underscoring the transformative potential of university-community partnerships in generating impactful and sustainable social change.
